David Shepherd OBE FRSA, internationally renowned wildlife artist, opening the Ellwood gallery in September 2006. 

At the Ellwood Gallery you will find many oil paintings of wildlife from around the world, including elephant, tiger, panda, cheetah, lion, rhino as well as birds.  Ellwood only works from his own photographs and sketches to capture the feel of the habitat as well as producing a faithful likeness of the animals.

He's not just a wildlife artist though, also on show at the gallery are landscapes, seascapes, buildings and abstract works.

A lot of his work is commissions of any subject matter including pets which make excellent presents for that very special occasion.

A visit to the gallery will enable you to not only view the work but also talk to the artist himself.  Usually open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm and some Saturdays, however it is best to ring before making a special journey, call 01483 223949.
